Is Now the Time to Buy a New Home?

by Alfred Adask

Bloomberg recently reported (“Treasury Scarcity to Grow as Fed Buys 90% of New Bonds”) that, “The average interest rate on 30-year mortgages is a record low 3.31 percent.”

Record-low interest rates on mortgages certainly provide an incentive to buy new homes.  But we not only enjoy record-low interest rates, the prices of the homes themselves have fallen by 30% or more since A.D. 2008.  Thus, today’s homebuyers enjoy both low home prices and low interest rates.  Compared to A.D. 2008, today’s home mortgages are a steal.  Hard to resist that sort of temptation.

But then, that’s the point, isn’t it?  Today’s record-low interest rates are intended to entice us into borrowing currency from the banks.

Why the enticement?  Because the economy is slow and tending to recession or worse.  Therefore, much of the public is anxious about retaining their jobs and their ability to repay whatever they borrow.  Lacking confidence in the economy and their capacity to repay loans, many people are reluctant to borrow.  Therefore, the interest rates are at record lows to entice people into taking a chance on going into debt to purchase a new home.

A willingness to risk going into debt is not entirely unreasonable since Bloomberg also reports,
“The U.S. economy expanded more than previously estimated in the third quarter, led by consumer spending, government outlays and residential construction. Gross domestic product rose at a 2.7 percent annual rate for the period from July through September, up from 2 percent reported in October, revised figures from the Commerce Department showed Nov. 29.”
If the economy is finally “recovering,” consumers need not be so anxious about going back into debt. Their jobs may be safe.  But is an unexpected increase in the GDP for just one quarter sufficient evidence to warrant renewed confidence in the economy?

After all, if the third quarter in A.D. 2012 was unexpectedly strong, most economists seem to also expect that this January’s “fiscal cliff” may push the economy deeper into recession:
“The Congressional Budget Office said that failure to reach an agreement on the fiscal cliff may push the economy into a recession next year and boost unemployment to 9.1 percent in the fourth quarter of 2013, from 7.9 percent in October.”
So, is the economy rising or falling?  Do low home prices and record-low interest rates offer an irresistible mortgage opportunity—or are they inducements for fools to rush in where economists fear to tread?

Bloomberg continues:
“The Fed has pumped money into the financial system by purchasing more than $2.3 trillion of Treasuries and mortgage-related securities in three rounds of policy called quantitative easing. The latest program announced Sept. 13 involves buying $40 billion a month in mortgage securities, and has no end date or fixed total amount.”
The Federal Reserve’s seemingly endless (“no end date or fixed total amount”) financial support for mortgages suggests that the mortgage default rate must still be substantial.  If so, as more homes are foreclosed, the supply of home should increase more quickly than demand and home prices are likely to keep falling. If so, the lowest home prices are yet to come.

More,
“A ‘number’ of Fed officials said the central bank may need to expand its purchases next year, according to the minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee’s Oct. 23-24 meeting. Bond traders predict policy makers will make new Treasury purchases next year of about $42.9 billion a month.”
If the Federal Reserve “expands” the amount of currency spent to support the mortgage industry from $40 billion/month to $42.9 billion, that’s evidence that the mortgage default problem is either growing or is at least more intractable than previously supposed.  In either case, this suggests that the Fed expects more foreclosed homes, an increasing supply of vacant homes for sale, and therefore further declines in the price of homes.  Again, the best home prices may be yet to come.

•  But buying homes as an investment is not so simple that a decision can be made based merely on home prices and mortgage interest rates.  There’s also the question of inflation.

As measured against the price of gasoline, the purchasing power of the fiat dollar has fallen by 90% since A.D. 1970.  In the same period, as measured against gold, the fiat dollar has lost about 98% of its purchasing power.  As measured against the average prices of homes ($26,000 in A.D. 1970 and $300,000 today), the fiat dollar has lost about 91% of its purchasing power.  These losses aren’t entirely due to government’s determination to inflate the dollar.  Crude oil supply problems and increasing home sizes have contributed to rising costs.  Nevertheless, monetary inflation (printing more paper currency to add to the money supply) has been a predominant cause for this loss of purchasing power.

I have no doubt that government is determined to continue causing monetary inflation in order to reduce the purchasing power and real value of the National Debt.  If government succeeds in causing as much monetary inflation over the next 40 years as it has over the past 40 years, you’d have to be nuts to not buy a home on credit today.  Low home prices, record-low interest rates and significant inflation offer a combination of incentives that’s truly beguiling.

If inflation persists, by the time your 30-year mortgage expires, you may be paying your monthly mortgage payments with dollars worth only 25 cents as compared to today’s dollar’s purchasing power.  You might start paying $1,200 a month on your mortgage and end paying the equivalent of $300 dollars a month.  Plus, if inflation continues, the price of your home will increase guaranteeing a nominal profit on your home investment.

Thus, if government can cause as much monetary inflation over the next 40 years as it did in the previous 40, buying a new home today is a brilliant investment decision.

But there’s the problem, isn’t it?  Can government sustain monetary inflation over the next 20, 30 or 40 years?

•  Unfortunately, there are two kinds of “inflation”:  monetary and price.

Price inflation is “real” in that it’s caused by changes in supply and demand in the free market.  If the supply of homes increases more rapidly than demand, the price of homes should fall.  As free-market prices of homes fall, home builders make less profit and slow home construction until prices stabilize at a level that is both profitable for the builder and affordable for the buyer.  If the people’s demand for homes outstrips supply, the price of homes should increase and homebuilders (able to make more profits) start building more homes until the prices once again stabilize at a level that is both profitable for the building and affordable for the buyer.

Price inflation occurs in the truly “free” (unmanipulated) market.  In the “free market,” the supply can change and the demand can change, but the value of the money used to measure prices is fundamentally fixed and unchanging.  Thus, the “free market” is characterized by a gold- or silver-based money. Prices are measured in ounces of precious metal.  Because the money is metallic, it can’t be artificially increased by “spinning” it out of thin air.

In the free market, supply and demand therefore reflect only the will of the people.  If the people want more of some product or service, they’ll pay more and the supply will be increased.  If they want less of some product or service, they won’t buy unless the price falls, the product becomes less profitable and the supply is diminished. Thus, by controlling the supply and demand, the people control the prices of products and services.

In a true free market dominated by price inflation and a metallic currency, whenever demand exceeds supply, the supply is increased until a level of price stability was achieved.  Whenever supply exceeded demand, production and the price of the product would fall until a level of price stability was achieved.

This price stability may be only temporary.  Nevertheless, a—perhaps the—fundamental objective of the free market is to stabilize prices at a level that is both profitable for the builder or manufacturer and affordable for the buyer.

• Monetary inflation, on the other hand, is “artificial” and illusory in that it is not a consequence of natural changes in supply and demand, but is instead intended to be a cause for changes in the supply and demand in the un-free/manipulated market.  Monetary inflation is not controlled by the people’s demand for a product nor by their work ethic and consequent capacity to produce an increased supply that product.  Under monetary inflation, people become increasingly lazy and dependent on government.  In fact, so long as we have monetary inflation and the intrinsic promise of “something for nothing,” the people can abandon their work ethic and lose their former ability to produce anything.  With monetary inflation, the welfare and subsidy mentalities grow while personal independence and self-reliance falter.

Monetary inflation is controlled by the government and is absolutely dependent upon a fiat currency that has virtually no tangible, intrinsic value.  Without intrinsic value, fiat currency can be “spun” out of thin air and granted to anyone who offers serious support for the government.  To acquire fiat currency, you need not be productive—only supportive.

Significant, persistent market manipulation cannot exist without a fiat currency.  Significant, persistent market manipulation cannot exist in an economy based on a gold- or silver-based monetary system.

To illustrate monetary inflation, suppose a government replaces the nation’s gold- and silver-based money with a fiat, paper or digital currency.  That government is now free to print however much paper currency it deems is necessary to keep the economy functioning properly.  That government is also free to print enough “extra” fiat currency to guarantee a sufficient rate of inflation to ensure that borrowers will be able to repay their loans with “cheaper” (inflated) dollars.

Faced with the promise of persistently rising prices (caused by persistent monetary inflation), people will be continuously enticed into buying new homes and other products.  We become “consumers” rather than producers.  As more consumers buy new homes, economic activity increases.  Home builders and laborers make more money.  They spend more money.  The economy is “stimulated” and everyone prospers.  Ultimately, thanks to the government’s scientific application of just the right amount of monetary inflation, the economy can remain in a perpetual state of “stimulation” and we can all get rich without really having to work.  All we have to do is harvest (borrow) fiat dollars off the Federal Reserve’s “fiat money tree”.

But note that the people are motivated/manipulated into buying new homes by the promise of persistent inflation and persistently rising prices.  Who would take out a 30-year mortgage to buy a new home if they thought the home’s price would stabilize or even decline within the next five years?  It’s the promise of persistently “cheaper” dollars and of a persistent increase in the home’s nominal price that stimulates us to take out a 30-year mortgage.

Who implicitly promises “endless” inflation?  The government.

Thus, unlike the people’s “free market” (whose primary goal is to cause price stability), the government’s un-free, manipulated market’s primary objective is to avoid price stability and cause persistent price increases.

So long as the dollar inflates and prices increase, ignorant people are induced to borrow and spend to secure the illusory/nominal profits provided by investing in homes.  I.e., if the people believe that the house that costs $300,000 today will sell for $500,000 in ten years, they’ll buy in hopes of reaching a $200,000 (unearned) profit.  They don’t understand that the $200,000 “profit” will be only nominal because it’s based primarily on inflation.  If inflation causes $500,000 in ten years to have no more purchasing power than $300,000 today, there is no $200,000 profit—only an illusion and higher taxes.

In pursuit of inflation’s illusory “profit”, the people are induced to work much like a cartoon donkey that persistently follows the carrot suspended from the stick tied to the donkeys head and dangling six inches from the donkey’s nose.  By means of inflation, the people’s economic activities can be controlled by the government.  Thus, fiat currency helps subject people to government control and even despotism. (On the other hand, a gold- or silver-based monetary system is conducive to the people’s freedom and productivity but contrary to government’s determination to control.)

If government causes just enough monetary inflation to cause “cheaper” dollars, the people will be predisposed to borrow fiat dollars to buy a new house.  If government prints enough fiat currency to guarantee significant monetary inflation, people won’t merely buy one new home to live in—they’ll buy several new homes as investments.  Bankers will be encouraged persistent inflation to lend to “sub-prime” borrowers who they know are likely to default on their mortgages.  Why?  Because even if the borrower defaults, the home’s price will have appreciated sufficiently to insure that the bank still makes a nominal profit—even on a non-performing mortgage!

It’s genius!

And it can’t miss. Just ask Alan Greenspan.

•  In fact, the “genius” of fiat currency and persistent inflation can miss.  Why?  Because price inflation of the free market and monetary inflation of the manipulated market are antagonistic to each other.  Every so often, the people’s price inflation (based on supply and demand) overwhelms the government’s monetary inflation (based on government control).

We saw it happen in A.D. 2006-2008 when the people who populate the free market began to realize that, thanks to government inflation and market manipulation, and thanks to the public’s willingness to blindly chase the carrot of illusory profits, the public had built and purchased too many homes and condominiums. There was such an over-supply of homes on the market, that the free market demand for new homes plummeted, home prices fell, sub-prime loans became losers rather than guaranteed winners, and foreclosures skyrocketed.  Some mortgagees—seeing the mathematics on the wall and realizing their homes were worth less on the market than they were on their loans—simply abandoned their homes.

In essence, the government’s unspoken promise of persistent inflation and ever-rising home prices, and guaranteed (though nominal) profits, failed.   The people (much like the donkey chasing the carrot) sensed the deception and stopped pursuing the promise of unearned profits.  The US and even global economies nearly crashed.  The government and Federal Reserve injected close to $2 trillion fiat dollars into the economy in an attempt to restore monetary inflation and get the “donkeys” to once more pull government’s wagon in pursuit of unearned profits.

Funny thing, though:  the “donkeys” have, so far, refused to be tempted by the bigger, fatter, inflated carrots dangling just six inches beyond their noses.   The government’s monetary inflation has prevented an overt crash, but it has so far failed to stimulate the economic donkeys to once again pull gov-co’s wagons.  This failure must be unnerving for government.  They’ve done almost everything they can to stimulate the donkey/economy into action, and nothing has worked well.

Without the control provided by monetary inflation, government faces two prospects:  1) abandon the pretense of economic control and restore a free market controlled by the people, complete with a gold- or silver-based currency; 2) maintain governmental control with overt force (martial law); or 3) do nothing and risk letting the nation (uncontrolled by the people or by government) disintegrate into chaos.

•  So, if you’re considering whether to buy or not to buy a new home just now, the big question is whether monetary inflation or price deflation is going to prevail.

If government can cause enough persistent monetary inflation in the manipulated market to cause the fiat dollar to depreciate, cause prices to rise, and reduce the real value of the national debt (and they certainly want to), now is a great time to buy a new house.  Prices are low, interest-rates are at record lows.

On the other hand, if the “donkeys” in the free market refuse to bite at the government’s inflated carrots and the economy slides deeper into recession or depression, unemployment will rise and your capacity to repay your loans becomes doubtful, prices will fall (meaning no guaranteed, nominal profit in your home “investment), and you’d have to be nuts to take a mortgage to purchase a house at this time.

So which is it?  Will the irresistible force of governmental monetary inflation prevail?  Or will it be the immovable object of economic depression and free-market, supply-and-demand price inflation prevail?

Tough call.

I believe the forces favoring further economic decline will prevail over the next three to ten years.  If I’m right, then generally speaking, now is not the time to take out a mortgage to buy a new home.

HEART MATTERS
By Herbalist Wendy Wilson

The ticker called the human heart is under attack. There is more heart disease than Carter has pills (old WWII expressionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-v2WRcfu5Yg).  Over the years I've written about heart health but was shocked to see the recent mortality statistics on what is called pericarditis and congestive heart failure. Japan has the highest percentage of cases of pericarditis followed by the US and Brazil . Regarding congestive heart failure, Germany leads the globe followed by the US and Japan . Let's take a look at these unnecessary health problems because they are preventable.

"These numbers are staggering, in fact incomprehensible. By all accounts, we are dealing with the greatest health crisis in human history."   Julien de la Mettrie

HEART ON FIRE (Pericarditis)

When I think of pericarditis I think of a heart that is under duress. Pericarditis is an inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart. The sac will accumulate fluid causing pressure and heart pain. When this happens, the heart not only has to pump it has to practically swim. This condition is life threatening and must be addressed.

SAC ATTACK

The sac that surrounds the heart muscle is a layer of thin but tough tissue. What is its function? There is lymph fluid in the sac designed to lubricate the heart when it beats to minimize friction from surrounding tissues. How much fluid is needed? About ½ to 1.5 ounces is normal. This also helps to balance pressure, structural support and prevent dislocation or stretching of the heart. When the sac becomes inflamed more lymphatic fluid is accumulated in the sac. The sac can stretch as it fills with fluid. How much fluid can it hold? About 1 to 4 cups can accumulate and can cause a myocardial rupture and death. This fluid presses against the heart limiting the heart's pumping action and decreases blood flow. If you see an echocardiogram of a heart threaten by pericarditis, it looks like the heart is trying to swim or dance as it tries to beat. In the old days (100 years ago) pericarditis was known as pleurisy of the heart. The Greek word pleura refers to "side" or "rib". Pleuritis refers to inflammation of the "inner lining of the chest" either lungs or heart. In the old days they would risk draining the heart sac of the fluid and then have to restart the heart with an injection of epinephrine (a hormone and neurotransmitter creating a fight or flight response to restart the heart). It was risky but without intervention the patient was going to die from pericarditis.

CAUSES

There are many causes for the pericarditis such as but not limited to; bacterial infections, pneumonia, tuberculosis, injury, auto immune disease, high BP, fungus, parasites, cancer, heart surgery etc. The most common cause is a viral infection. The viruses to watch out for are: echoviruses (gastrointestinal virus and causes skin rashes), Coxsackie virus, chicken pox, influenza Herpes and hepatitis viruses. If the condition is caused by bacteria it usually is from Staph Aureus, H. Influenza, Streptococcus and Tuberculosis. A thyroid or autoimmune disease or kidney disease can also cause it.

SYMPTOMS & MEDICAL TREATMENTS

Pericarditis is usually easy to spot. About 5 to 10 days prior to hospitalization the patient will have complained about chest pains which gradually become more severe. The pain is worse when lying down and therefore patients are propped up in a sitting position. The patient experiences extreme fatigue. Listening to the heart you can hear it rub or bump up against the fluid-filled sac and x-rays can show an enlarged heart. Echocardiograms are usually done to get a picture of how full the sac is. Most physicians will order blood work and prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs and rest hoping it will resolve within 2-3 weeks. If it was caused by a bacterial infection, IV antibiotics are prescribed. Diuretics are prescribed (Lasix) to drain the fluid. If the condition does not resolve itself; then the fluid must be manually drained, which may involved the heart sac and lung. It also offers more risk and is expensive

"The feet are the gateway to 10,000 illnesses." Chinese Proverb

CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE

In the US we have 5 million Americans currently suffering with congestive heart failure. If you check hospital surveys you'll find that congestive heart failure is one of the main reasons people over 65-years-of-age check into the hospital.

THE SYMPTOMS

Congestive heart failure is a bit different than those who suffer from heart attacks. The name, "Congestive Heart Failure," describes not a sudden collapse as in a heart attack but is a gradual weakening and failure of the heart to pump adequately. When this occurs body fluids do not circulate nor are they excreted by the body properly and edema (fluid buildup) occurs especially around the heart muscle and extremities. The heart becomes enlarged and this affects the left ventricle of the heart. The heart is still pumping however at a much slower rate and therefore oxygen-rich blood is not getting to the body as it should. With congestive heart failure, blood backs up in the veins, swelling the legs, ankles and feet. Fluid is not exiting the body through the kidneys like it should since the pump doesn't offer adequate pressure and fluids can back up into the pulmonary system causing congestion, pneumonia or pulmonary edema. Needless to say, if you suffer from this problem you have shortness of breath, no energy, poor digestion, weight gain, memory problems, high blood pressure, and heart valve disease.

MEDICAL TREATMENT

You already know that main-stream medicine is bent on managing your heart condition for you for as long as they can. You are told to rest, weigh yourself every day, check for increased fluid gain, stay off processed salt, eat healthy with no saturated fats, take your prescribed medications, keep your follow-up appointments and a copy of your medical history with you at all times. With allopathic healthcare you are very lucky if you live to avoid surgery. Doctors have a variety of drugs to address your symptoms but not the cause; such as ACE inhibitors; (Captopril, Capoten, Enalapril (Vasotec), Iisinopril (Zestril or Prinivil), benazepril (Lotensin) and ramipril (Altace). Beta-blockers; Carvedilol (Coreg). Digoxin (Lanoxin). Diuretics; furosemide (Lasix), hydrochlorothiazide bumetanide (Bumex), torsemide (Demadex), metolazone (Zaroxolyn), spironolactone (Aldactone) and eplerenone (Inspra).

"The doctor has been taught to be interested not in health but in disease. What the public is taught is that health is the cure for disease."   Ashley Montagu

HEART PROBLEMS

Aside from injury situations or birth defects, cardiovascular problems most often involve a human system starving for nutrition. Many of the natural fats and oils in foods are necessary for a healthy heart and they are removed from processed foods to help prevent spoilage. A strong cardiovascular system also needs mineral nutrition for a steady heart beat and clean arteries and veins. Current farming practices have depleted mineral nutrients from the soil and produce inferior foods. It is up to you to add this nutrition back into your lifestyle. Once the body has a steady supply of nutrition, which is void of pharmaceuticals, food additives, preservatives, pesticides and other toxins it can rebuild and strengthen itself.

NATURAL TOOLS

For congestive heart failure you will need nutrition to strengthen the cardio system. Lifestyles with healthy diets will be necessary and vegetarians don't have heart disease.  Keep the diet simple and eat more raw certified organic fruits and vegetables. Make sure you get whole grains (no processed white flour) to get the natural oils in grains. Avoid smoking and dairy products like the plague. If you missed my articles on how dairy causes heart disease and cancer, then hit the archives. If you can't eat enough vegetables then look into the Body Foundation Food Mix made by Apothecary Herbs to add to your favorite juice. Supplement sources I would use are organic plant calcium with magnesium and boron (See Apothecary Herbs Calcium Formula). To improve circulation and get more oxygen-rich blood to the body use a combination of herbs (hawthorn berries, mother wort herb, aloe, red clover, garlic, ginger and cayenne pepper) found in the liquidHeart/Cholesterol/BP Formula at Apothecary Herbs. To strengthen the arteries and veins to have more elasticity and help remove blockages and fluid retention (without creating high blood pressure) use the micro-mineral nutrition in unprocessed, organic, sun-dried Celtic Sea salt found at Apothecary Herbs. To further remove edema (fluid retention) use a natural herbal diuretic known as lobelia herb found in Relaxation Formula. To take undue stress off the heart, consider a system clean-up and do the organ cleanses from the bowel to the blood system in the proper order for success and safety. Call Apothecary Herbs for more information on organ cleansing products 866-229-3663, International 704-885-0277 or onlinehttp://www.thepowerherbs.comfor emergencies see theirHeart Attack Pack.

For pericarditis follow the above information and add the immune boosting herbs. See the herb formulas at Apothecary Herbs to empower your immunity such as Cold & Flu package, Pneumonia  or Pandemic Kit. I would also use a natural anti-inflammatory herb such as willow bark and you will find it in the Pain/Anti-inflammatory formula at Apothecary Herbs. A natural diuretic is the Relaxation formula and also makes it easier to breathe. The Black walnut will keep parasites away and strengthen the thyroid gland. Layer withMullein herb to soothe all glands. Of course the semiannual organ cleansing will also eliminate many health problems. Call Apothecary Herbs for a free product catalog 866-229-3663, International 704-8850277, http://www.thepowerherbs.com, where your healthcare options just became endless.

The "Wise Men" May Have Been Onto Something After All
by Ty Bollinger

Every year around Christmas time, we hear stories about the birth of Christ. And I'm sure that we've all heard about the "Wise Men" and their gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.  Have you ever wondered why they chose these gifts? Well, we all know that gold is the most precious metal, but why would they bring frankincense and myrrh?

Frankincense and myrrh are produced from closely related species of balsam trees. Frankincense is derived from theBoswellia tree, while myrrh is derived from the Commiphoratree. Both species of trees originate in the mountains of south Arabia (Yemen and Oman ) and mountains of Somalia. Both frankincense and myrrh are considered to be oleo gum resins. This basically means that they are oily looking and are partly water soluble and partly alcohol soluble. Both frankincense and myrrh are collected as a thick liquid from natural cracks or cuts in the tree bark, which then dries into lumps. The essential oils which are distilled from these resins are typically very thick with a warm, sweet, and spicy aroma.

In ancient times, the Egyptians imported great quantities of frankincense and myrrh from Palestine. Because of their unique aromatic fragrance, both oils were highly valued as trade commodities. The Ishmaelite travelers who purchased Joseph from his mean spirited brothers were journeying to Egypt with camels loaded with spices, balm, and myrrh (Genesis 37:25). It was believed that the Queen of Sheba brought great quantities of frankincense and myrrh and other spices from Yemen as gifts for King Solomon. As a matter of fact, the long-heralded "balm of Gilead" is a member of the myrrh family, known far and wide as a healing agent for wounds.

The trading of frankincense and myrrh expanded greatly around the 1100 BC, with the establishing of improved land routes and domestication of the camel. By 1000 BC, both resins were widely distributed throughout Babylon, Rome, Assyria, Egypt, Persia, Greece, and China. Frankincense and myrrh were prized possessions in the ancient world, rivaling the value of many precious gems and metals.

In his book Healing Oils of the Bible, Dr. David Stewart suggests that frankincense and myrrh (and their uses) were well known at the time the Bible was recorded. Although these healing oils were very valuable and not commonly used except by the wealthy, most people would have known exactly what they were and how they could be used.

Frankincense is an oleo gum resin from Boswellia trees, of which there are over 25 species. Arabs called the milky sap of the Boswellia tree "al lubn" meaning "milk." Al lubn became anglicized to olibanum, which is another name for frankincense. When burned, frankincense produces a brilliant flame and produces a pleasant aroma.

Since frankincense encourages healthy growth and regeneration of skin cells, it is useful in treating cuts and wounds. Powder of the dried gum is a common ingredient in herbal plasters and pastes used to treat wounds, especially in Chinese medicine. A traditional recipe for an antiseptic wound powder is to mix the powdered resins of frankincense, myrrh, and dried aloe.

Tree sap has antibiotic and antifungal properties which protect the tree from infections. So when humans use oleo gum resins or essential oils derived from trees, we are utilizing the molecular components of the trees immune system to boost our own. Frankincense is used for treating a variety of respiratory problems such as bronchitis and laryngitis. Steam inhalation of the essential oil, combined with other respiratory oils such as eucalyptus, is highly effective.

The oleo gum resin of Indian frankincense (Boswelliaserrata) contains four major pentacyclictriterpenic acids, referred to as boswellic acids. Studies have shown that boswellic acids have an anti-inflammatory action much like conventional non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). This being so, they have been found to be highly effective in such conditions as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, colitis, Crohn's disease, and asthma.  Recently, a few studies showed that boswellic acids may have anti-cancer effect on leukemia and brain tumors.

Researchers at Virginia Tech's college of veterinary medicine recently discovered that frankincense is effective at treating skin cancer in horses. Frankincense is "carrier oil" in that it penetrates membranes and cell walls. It is one of the few substances known to cross the blood barrier. A cancerous cell wall loses its ability to transfer substances across the membrane. Therefore, not all herbs or medications can effect a cancerous cell. However, "carrier" agents like frankincense, DMSO, and very alkaline minerals like cesium are highly penetrable across the membranes and have the opportunity to act on a cancerous cell or a brain tissue that is separated by the blood brain barrier.

Frankincense has been clinically researched to combat cancer and for use as an antidepressant. It is commonly used in European hospitals. Frankincense is being researched for its ability to simulate human growth hormone production and to assist in hormone balance.

When the oleo gum resin is collected exclusively for essential oil production, the fresh semi-solid material is also used. The fresh gum is chewed for strengthening the teeth and gums, to stimulate digestion, to expel congested phlegm, and to combat halitosis. Chewing of frankincense resin has the secondary benefit of cleansing the digestive system by stimulating bile flow and enzyme secretion and reducing fermentation.

Burning frankincense in churches had hygienic functions as well as spiritual importance. People of the Middle Ages lived in extremely unsanitary conditions, so the fumigation of churches helped reduce the smell from unwashed parishioners (that slept with animals) and reduce contagion through purifying the air.

Frankincense was used to make eyeliner. But not just any eyeliner — I mean that weird Egyptian stuff Elizabeth Taylor wore in Cleopatra. This was back in the days when they weren't sure whether the purpose of cosmetics was to enhance womanly beauty or scare off birds.  J Burning frankincense also repels mosquitoes and flies.

As you can see, the uses of frankincense are so numerous that it can accurately be described as a panacea, used for everything from colds to cancers. The general functions of frankincense resin and essential oil can therefore be described as immune-enhancing; antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral, and antiseptic. And as we have seen, frankincense also heals wounds and has distinct anti-inflammatory properties.

Myrrh is an oleo gum resin obtained from Commiphora trees, of which there are over 50 species.  These trees are very thorny trees which grow in thickets to a height of about nine feet.  The name "myrrh" is derived from the Hebrew word "maror," meaning bitter.

Myrrh is one of the oldest medicines in the world. It has been mentioned in Egyptian medical texts since 2,800 BC. It was used in embalming the Egyptian pharaohs and was also burned in temples of Greece, Babylon, India, Rome, and China. After Jesus was crucified, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus took His body and prepared it for burial using 75 pounds of myrrh and aloes (John 19:39). Myrrh was commonly used as perfume in the Middle East. In ancient Persia, when King Ahasuerus set about choosing a new queen to replace Vashti, the eligible girls had to complete a full year of beauty treatments, including a six-month cosmetic regimen with the oil of myrrh (Esther 2:12).

Myrrh is similar to frankincense in its wound-healing and blood-vitalizing properties, and the two are often combined in salves. Like frankincense, myrrh resin is a predominant part of the immune system of the tree. Therefore, many of the therapeutic functions of myrrh are quite similar to frankincense.

Myrrh is a specific and highly effective antiseptic astringent for inflammations of the mouth, throat, and gums. It is also an effective treatment for chronic halitosis, gingivitis, and periodontal disease. It is a common ingredient of herbal toothpowders and mouthwashes, and is widely used throughout the Middle East and India for dental problems.

Myrrh was used as a perfume and was also added to cheap wine to make it more drinkable. Such a mixture was offered to condemned convicts to numb their pain before death. You might remember that the soldier offered the Lord Jesus some wine mingled with myrrh while He hung on the cross (Mark 15:23).

This amazing substance has even been shown to be effective at treating step throat and tonsillitis. For these symptoms, tincture of myrrh can be combined with Echinacea and golden seal and used as a mouthwash and gargle. Myrrh is also beneficial for acne, rashes, and inflammatory skin problems. Myrrh oil can be applied directly to abrasions and wounds, and it can be made into salves for treating hemorrhoids and bed sores.

Since myrrh is very bitter, it stimulates the flow of digestive juices and improves nutrient absorption. Its antibacterial and antifungal powers help reduce candida and other pathogens in the gut. By improving digestion, myrrh clears toxins from the digestive tract and acts as a general detoxifying and anti-inflammatory remedy, thereby treating the root causes of arthritis, rheumatism, and gout. Interestingly, myrrh also has distinct anti-parasitic, anti-microbial, and antibacterial properties, and is a direct stimulant of white blood cell production. It is one of the most effective of all known disinfectants from the plant kingdom.

Researchers at Rutgers University have found two compounds in myrrh that are strong painkillers, another compound that helps lower cholesterol, and most recently, a potent anti-cancer agent. What makes myrrh such an exciting player in the anti-cancer field is not only how well it kills cancer cells in general, but how it kills those that are resistant to other anti-cancer drugs. "The myrrh compound definitely appears to be unique in this way; it is working where other compounds have failed," says Dr. Mohamed M. Rafi, an assistant professor in the department of food science at Rutgers.  Myrrh has been shown to be selectively toxic against MDR (multiple drug resistant) tumor cells found in the breast and prostate.

Myrrh is believed to work by inactivating a protein called Bcl-2, a natural factor that is overproduced by cancer cells, particularly in the breast and prostate. When levels of this protein go too high, say experts, it not only promotes the growth of more abnormal cells, it can also make those cells resistant to anti-cancer drugs. In Dr. Rafi's laboratory research, the myrrh compound was able to inactivate the protein in a line of breast tumor cells known as MCF-7, cells that in the past were particularly resistant to treatment.

The Greeks considered myrrh to be a sacred substance and those who could afford the resin used it as incense and to treat virtually every illness. Myrrh is the most often repeated aromatic essential oil in the Bible.

A comparison of frankincense and myrrh reveals that myrrh is more astringent, antiseptic, and disinfectant, while frankincense is more anti-inflammatory and blood vitalizing.  These resins and their essential oils were priceless medicines, worth their weight in gold to the Egyptians and Greeks, and were used to treat everything from skin disorders to viral infections, from cancer to depression and more.  I guess it's safe to say that the "wise men" may have been on to something after all. . .

What's Ailing America: TRUTH IS NOW LABELED "HATE SPEECH"
by Rebecca Carley, MD
www.reversingvaccineinduceddiseases.com

As I always say, having the title "What's Ailing America?" for my radio shows and this newsletter gives me an infinite list of answers to that question.  One of my biggest frustrations is the great number of people who apparently beLIEve that if they ignore what the psychopaths are doing, it won't affect them; or, if they "go along to get along" and remain on their knees (or sell their souls for cash to do the bidding of the psychopaths), that they will be left alone. Distract the masses with "dancing with the stars", etc. It is not just Rome burning as the fiddling continues it is the whole planet.  There are technologies available to reverse the damage that is being done by these psychopaths, but the treason and crimes against humanity must be stopped.

There are many people exposing the multiple crimes against humanity being perpetrated all over the world by the psychopaths that control the world.  However, merely exposing the atrocities going on will do nothing to stop them, aseverything is under the control of these monsters.  The psychopaths themselves must be unmasked.  If you have not yet seen the movie "They Live", I strongly suggest you watch ithttp://www.propagandamatrix.com/291103theylive.html . The plot of the movie is that the ruling elite of the world are aliens in disguise, their aim being to keep humans in a state of mindless consumerism to obey, consume, and to have NO INDEPENDENT THOUGHT.  This is getting more and more self evident every day.  The only way we can stop these psychopaths is to reveal WHO THEY ARE.

I WILL NOW GIVE THE DISCLAIMER THAT MY VIEWS ARE NOT NECESSARILY THE VIEWS OF THE OTHER CONTRIBUTORS TO THIS NEWSLETTER, since to identify these monsters is now deemed "hate speech".  In fact, "alternative" media is now being controlled in large part as well. I have taken my show off bothwww.thesechangingtimezradio.ning.com as well aswww.oriontalkradio.com in the last couple of weeks due to censorship on these networks.  Please go to
http://thelightofdayradioshow.com/archives/RBN-BACKUP/commericalFree.html and listen to the archive of my first show on www.themicroeffect.comon December 1st, 2012 on which my guest Maggie Roddin and myself discussed this "hate speech" con which has been perpetrated in an attempt to stop the unmasking of these predators.  This will NOT work, as there are too many people who have recognized who the enemy of humanity is.  I suggest you access the following resources to check things out for yourself.

The following 3 books can be ordered from www.amazon.com :

1.  "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion" – this book is claimed to be a "fraud"; however, as you read it you will realize that everything discussed is happening now.  In fact, the last sentence of the 10th protocol states the following:  " it is indispensible to trouble in all countries the people's relations with their governments so as to utterly exhaust humanity with dissension, hatred, struggle, envy, torture, starvation, BY THE INOCULATION OF DISEASES so that the goy see no other issue than to take refuge in our complete sovereignty in money and in all else".  (Note that they separate themselves from humanity; why this is will become obvious next).

2. "The Synagogue Of Satan" by Andrew Carrington Hitchcock.  It states on page 9 of this book – "Listen to what God's word reveals:  I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the Synagogue of Satan". (Revelation 2:9)

3. "The Jews and their Lies" by Dr. Martin Luther, written in 1543.

A very important documentary entitled "The Eternal Jews" made in the 1940's can be accessed athttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZzrpp7UAjQ   (it gives the history of why these predators have been vanquished by so many countries they victimized).

Go to http://www.sherryshriner.com/talmud_tidbits.htm to learn some of what their "holy book" reveals, including Sanhedrin 57a:  "Jews may rob and kill non-jews"; Sanhedrin 54b:  "a jew may have sex with a child as long as the child is less than nine years old"; and Libbre David 37:  "to communicate with a goy about our religious relations would be equal to the killing of ALL jews, FOR IF THE GOY KNEW WHAT WE TEACH ABOUT THEM, THEY WOULD KILL US OPENLY".

Other very revealing resources include:
 - so muhttp://www.intifada-palestine.com/2009/05/ariel-sharon-we-the-jewish-people-control-america-and-the-americans-know-it so here, especially quote by Israeli prime Minister Ariel Sharon on 10/3/2001 – (reference #12):  " Don't worry about American pressure on Israel.  We, the jewish people, control Americans, and the Americans know it".

http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/285713-3  Joe Biden speaks to AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) and announces "I am a Zionist" on 5/9/09.  THIS IS TREASON. Of course the congress has now passed HR 4133 binding the US to Israel and their war agenda, and to PROTECT ISRAEL FROM THE UN SHOULD THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLVE TO HOLD ISRAEL ACCOUNTABLE TO INTERNATIONAL LAWS:
 http://www.activistpost.com/2012/05/house-passes-hr-4133-binding-us-to.html

George Bush indicated in Public Law 102-14, 102nd Congress, that the US was founded on the seven universal laws of Noah:
http://www.thewatcherfiles.com/noahide_laws.htm. This has NOTHING to do with Noah of the Bible, but rather the absolute system of falsification that constitutes the Talmud.

The jews recite their "kol nidre" prayer every Yom Kippur, where they state that NO promise or oath will be kept for the coming year.  Check out http://rese.com/general45/kol.htm ; Check out what Jim Stone has to say about what he learned about the kol nidre when he was considering conversion athttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfVkWf-wfOQ.

Note that the Jewish encyclopedia, 1925 edition, vol 5, p.41 – states that they are descendants of esau-edom (the offspring of the serpant); http://www.jfkmontreal.com/jews_america.htm .
